QUEENS BOY SCOUT NEWS - 1929

These two issues of Queens Boy Scout News tells us much about what was going on in Queens Scouting in 1929.   The big Camp-O-Ral was scheduled in May at Camp Newcombe, near Wading River, LI.  Boards of Review and Courts of Honor were scheduled at multiple locations in Queens.

Almet Case was appointed Assistant Scout Executive.  Weekend camping slots at Camp Newcombe were filling up.  Planning was starting for summer camp at Camp Matinecock. A membership campaign was announced with a goal of 7,000 Queens Scouts by the end of the year.
