Eagle Badge History - A short history of the Eagle Scout rank badge, from 1924 to present, presented by "The Hiker". Each type has an accompanying image.
Parent & Scouter Resources
Youth Protection Guidelines for Adult Leaders and Parents - An online version of the essential BSA training for all adult members of the Scouting community. The site also has an audio option. This training is REQUIRED for all Scouters.
FBI: A Parent's Guide to Internet Safety
U.S. Scouting Service Project - A major portal site, dedicated to all aspects of scouting. Everything from clip art to museums, cubs thru venturing, adult leaders on to online library, plus much more.
Scoutmaster.Org - Lots of program and organizational resources for troop leaders. Part of the US Scouting Service Project.
Boy Scout Trail - General site - rank requirements,ceremonies, etc.
Scoutorama - Another large site with a variety of resources including SM minutes, recipes, eagle projects, and other program activities.
Wood Badge.Org - Site contains hundreds of Wood Badge resources, from its history to clip art. Wood Badge is the advanced training program for scout leaders.
MacScouter - Part of the USSSP family of sites, MacScouter is aimed at the needs of those who use Apple computers.
The Inquiry Net - Large, diversified site with over 2000 pages. Lots on "traditional" scouting, including digital text of Dan Beard's "The Boy Pioneers" and Ernest Seton's "The Birch Bark Roll”.
Scouter Network - Primarily a portal site which claims 12,000 links to Scouting pages.
Hennings Scouting Pages - This is a personal website that contains a good amount of interesting information on history, safety issues and program.
